SUMMARY:Candlemaking with Old Santee Canal Park
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special visit from Old Santee Canal Park where we will learn about candlemaking!\nDay to day work in the colonial era involved the entire family and everyone had a job to do. One of these important jobs for children was to make candles for the whole year for each family. Students will learn about the different types of candle making and get to try their hand at dipping candles.\nWhile we love our gardening friends of all ages, registration for this class is limited to children in kindergarten – 5th grade. Non-registered children may not attend.\n$3 fee (non-refundable) via Venmo @KatiesKrops\n
