SUMMARY:Youth Art Workshop – Garden Collage Creations: An Outdoor Art Adventure Inspired by Eric Carle (Ages Kindergarten +)
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our enchanting garden art workshop, where young artists (recommended for children kindergarten and up) will explore the wonders of nature through the exciting world of collage, inspired by the beloved works of Eric Carle! This engaging and hands-on outdoor experience is designed especially for elementary-aged children, providing them with a unique opportunity to connect with the natural world while unleashing their creativity, just like the renowned author and illustrator.\nIn this immersive workshop, students will have the opportunity for:\nNature Walk and Collecting: We’ll begin our adventure with a guided nature walk through the garden, where children will have the chance to discover and collect various natural materials like leaves, flowers, twigs, and more, much like Eric Carle did in his own creative process.\nArtistic Exploration: Back in our open-air classroom, students will learn the art of collage, drawing inspiration from Eric Carle’s signature style. They will use their found treasures and a variety of other materials such as colorful paper, fabric scraps, and magazines to create vibrant, textured collages.\nCreative Expression: Children will be encouraged to let their imaginations run wild as they create their own unique collages, combining the beauty of the garden’s flora and fauna with Eric Carle’s artistic techniques.\nGroup Sharing: We’ll wrap up each class with a group sharing session, where young artists can proudly display their creations and share the stories behind their artwork with their fellow classmates, just as Eric Carle shared his stories through his illustrations.\nThis workshop is not only a wonderful way to nurture your child’s artistic talents but also a fantastic opportunity for them to explore the world of Eric Carle and develop a deeper connection to the natural world. Join us for a fun-filled journey of creativity, exploration, and inspiration amidst the serene beauty of our garden classroom.\nCome and let your child’s creativity bloom in our Garden Collage Creations workshop, where they’ll be inspired by the enchanting world of Eric Carle. Register today and watch your young artist thrive in this delightful outdoor learning environment!\n \n
