Join us for a very special visit from Mike Dawson, local birding expert and retired Center Director and Sanctuary Manager of Francis Beidler Forest. Learn about some of our area’s most common backyard birds, how to identify different bird songs and use recycled cedar fencing to build your very own bird feeder to help attract these feathered garden helpers to your own yard.\nChildren will use hammers and nails and follow instructions to assemble their bird feeder with caregiver assistance.\nWhile we love our gardening friends of all ages, attendance for this class is limited to children ages 6+. A chaperone must be present during class time.\n
