DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special visit from Charleston Poet Laureate Marcus Amaker ( https://marcusamaker.com/ ) as he leads young writers in the garden.\nIn this outdoor poetry workshop, students explore the garden beneath their feet – its soil, seeds, roots, and quiet life – to discover poems waiting to be found. Through observation and imagination, young writers will grow words inspired by the living world around them.\nThere is a minimum of 10 registrants for this program to run.\nThis program is offered at no charge to attendees and made possible by Marcus’ incredible generosity.\nPlease email erin@katieskrops.com to join the waitlist.\n
