DESCRIPTION:Join us for an exciting new exploration of garden topics this spring thanks to the generous support of the SC Botanical Garden ( https://www.clemson.edu/scbg/ ). Each month we’ll gather to discuss a new topic, get our hands in the soil, and have the opportunity for a taste test. This month, we’ll learn about an indigenous garden tradition – Threes Sisters Garden! In this method, corn, beans, and squash are planted together so each “sister” can perform a specific function and supports the other “sisters.” Join us to learn more about some of the history of this indigenous garden tradition and of course some fun vegetable facts and a taste test!\nPlease note:\n– The Outdoor Classroom is 100% outdoors, unless otherwise noted. Please dress for each day’s weather.\n– Class fees are not refundable.\n– If Katie’s Krops cancels or reschedules a program, registrants may apply their class fee to a future class/event, or reclassify their registration fee as a donation to the garden.\n– Registrants withdrawing up to 48 hours prior to the program will be eligible to apply their fee to a future class/event.\n– Registrants who are a “no-show” will forfeit their registration fee.\n
