Great Pollinator Census

Our state has been invited to participate in an exciting citizen-science project established by the Univ of GA. Join us at the garden (weather permitting) to participate! Feel free to wear your favorite pollinator themed clothing or accessories. We’ll each pick out a blooming pollinator plant in the garden and observe for 15 minutes. Check out the video on the official Great Georgia Pollinator Census website for a quick overview of how we’ll perform our count:

We’ll have data sheets for everyone, but please bring along a pen or pencil and a clipboard if you have one. A chair or towel would also be good to bring along in case the ground is wet.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Hope to see you there!
