“Let’s Get Growing!” – Fall Garden Planning

Ready for a new season of growing? Join Master Gardener Lisa Turocy for a class on how to switch gears for fall gardening. This class will focus on what you need to do in order to get your garden ready for a second season of planting. We will discuss why it is important to amend your soil, what plants can be grown during fall/winter, calculating how many plants you will need, crop rotation, and how to start planning for spring.  Please be sure to bring pencils and paper if you would like to take notes.

While we love our gardening friends of all ages, attendance for this class is limited to registered children (K-5th) and a caregiver (required to attend).
