Native Bees and Honey Bees – Part of the “Let’s Get Growing!” Series

Join Master Gardener Lisa Turocy for a special class on the importance of bees in our ecosystem, different types of bees (native bees and honey bees), bee anatomy, the bee life cycle, and what you can do to help our bees.

After class, we will put our knowledge to the test and explore the garden to see if we can spot and identify any bees together. Please be sure to bring pencils and paper if you would like to take notes.

While we love our gardening friends of all ages, registration for this class is limited to children K-5th and a chaperone. Non-registered children may not attend.
