F.A.Q.

How do I become a Katie’s Krops grower?

We open our grower search on October 1st of each year and closes on December 30th. Our application can be found on our website by using the button to the right.

To apply, youth must be between the ages of 7 and 16 and must mail in their application. Unfortunately, we cannot welcome new growers outside our set grower search period.

Become A Grower

I’m a teacher and would like to start a garden with my class, how do I go about this?

Because we are a youth-based nonprofit, all applications to become a Katie’s Krops grower need to be from someone between the ages of 7-16. If a class is interested in applying, only one student from that class needs to fill out the application. We want our growers to continue their gardens for as long as possible, so we ask for a plan as to how the garden will be cared for over the summer and who will maintain the garden the following year.

Can I get meals from the dinners delivered?

We only deliver in the Summerville area to individuals or families without transportation or with medical issues that prevent them from leaving their homes. If these apply to you, please send a message to delivery@katieskrops.com with your full name, full address, phone number, and the number of meals you need. We are unable to fill any request without the individual’s full information or if they live outside of the Summerville area.

How can I have Katie come speak?

For any speaking or media requests, please reach out to Stacy@KatiesKrops.com and share all available information about the event, how long you would like her to speak for, and the date!
