As our Growers return to school, we want to share a snapshot of their amazing efforts this summer. The impact these children are having on their communities is immeasurable. They are not only providing fresh, healthy produce to individuals and families struggling with hunger and food insecurity, but they are also letting their neighbors know that there is someone who cares. They are learning responsibility and lifelong skills. They are improving the health of their communities. We are so proud of our young Growers!!!

The 2021 Katie’s Krops Grower Search is Now Open!
We are thrilled to announce that our 2021 Katie’s Krops Grower Search is officially open!
In 2021 we will welcome 75 new Katie’s Krops Growers to our growing family! This is a record new number of Growers. Children ages 7 to 16 in the United States are eligible to apply to become Katie’s Krops Growers and start a vegetable garden in their communities where the whole harvest is used to alleviate food insecurity. Youth who are selected to become Katie’s Krops Growers will receive an all-inclusive grower box, complete with everything necessary for kids to start their own garden. Growers are eligible for funds to continue to grow year after year, making their gardens and their projects sustainable.
To date, young Katie’s Krops Growers have donated over 450,000 pounds of fresh produce to help individuals and families struggle with food insecurity and hunger across the country and Africa. The application period opens today, November 1st, and youth will have until December 31st to complete and mail in the application. Early applications are encouraged and will be weighted heavily in the decision process. Applications can be found here, www.KatiesKrops.com/apply.
THIS PROGRAM IS CLOSED FOR 2021 Grow the Seeds of Hope & Change ~ Our New Seed Sharing Program for Children Out of School
THIS PROGRAM IS CLOSED FOR 2021
In these challenging times, Katie’s Krops is spreading the seeds of hope and change. Let’s plant the seeds of change and help our neighbors in need as we enter unchartered territory. We want to share our seeds with children across the country. Now is an excellent time for our Southern friends to get outside and start gardening, and for our Northern friends to start seeds indoors.
We will send seeds to 400 people who email Katie@KatiesKrops.com to help us grow a better tomorrow. Please include your full name and mailing address when you email Katie@KatiesKrops.com with the subject line “Seeds of Change.” Gardening is an excellent activity for children who are out of school. We can be the change!
Please note, due to restrictions we cannot ship seeds outside of the United States.
Together we can grow hope! All it takes is one seed.
