4-H in the Garden – Garden Friends and Foes – a Junior Master Gardener Lesson

Students will learn the difference between beneficial and pest insects in the garden and identify examples of each type. Groups will examine beneficial insects and create a poster on the benefits of a chosen beneficial insect in the garden.

While we love our gardening friends of all ages, registration for this class is limited to children in kindergarten – 5th grade. Non-registered children may not attend this class.
