All About Bees/Beekeeping with Beth McCarty from Science Everywhere Adventures! (Ages 6+)

Did you know bees communicate through dance? Ever wonder what all the buzz about bees is even about? Join us for a special visit from Beth McCarty with Science Everywhere Adventures! Together we’ll learn about the importance of pollination and honeybees, receive an introduction to life as a beekeper, explore a demonstration hive (no bees), check out beekeeper clothes, and participate in a honey tasting!

Katie’s Krops is 100% outdoors, so classes are held subject to weather conditions. In the case of inclement weather, we will notify participants of changes ahead of time and will make every effort to reschedule as soon as possible. There is no restroom in the flagship garden.
