Birdhouse Building Workshop (5+)

Migrating birds are arriving for spring and ready to nest! Join us for a very special visit from Mike Dawson, local birding expert and retired Center Director and Sanctuary Manager of Francis Beidler Forest. Learn about some of our area’s most common backyard birds, how to identify different bird songs and build your very own birdhouse to help attract these feathered garden helpers to your own yard.

Children will use hammers and nails and follow instructions to assemble their birdhouse with caregiver assistance.

While we love our gardening friends of all ages, attendance for this class is limited to children ages 5+. A chaperone must be present during class time.
