Birdhouse Building Workshop (Ages 5 and up)

Join us for a very special visit from Mike Dawson, local birding expert and retired Center Director and Sanctuary Manager of Francis Beidler Forest. Learn about some of our area’s most common backyard birds, how to identify different bird songs and build your very own birdhouse to help attract these feathered garden helpers to your own yard. Children will use hammers and nails and follow instructions to assemble their birdhouse with caregiver assistance.
