Calling all young scientists and pollinator enthusiasts! Join us in the garden for our 3rd year of participating in this exciting community science project. We’ll learn some basic entomology and select a blooming pollinator plant to observe for 15 minutes to collect important information to share with UGA. Check out the video on the official Great Southeast Pollinator Census website for a quick overview of how we’ll perform our count: https://gsepc.org/
We’ll provide all materials needed for the count and each youth participant with receive an official certificate. Please bring a towel or blanket to sit on while you’re observing.
