Secret Santa Storytime
Join us for a very special storytime in the garden where YOU get to play Secret Santa.
Join us in the garden for stories and hot chocolate while making the season bright for a very special friend. In December of 2019, Home Again (a non-profit founded by Katie’s brother to furnish homes for people transitioning out of homelessness) received a call to furnish a home for a veteran who had secured housing in a Charleston senior apartment complex after residing in a homeless shelter. On the day of the move-in, Katie and Walter became fast friends.
Sadly, Walter has no family and no longer has a car. He has one number on his phone, and that is Katie’s. This holiday season, we ask you to join us in adopting Walter and letting him know there are people who care. Hence, Secret Santa Storytime.
Come for the stories and hot chocolate; bring a little something for Walter to fill his stocking. We will have a wrapping and card-writing station. Gift suggestions are:
