Youth Fire Safety with Summerville Fire Department (Ages 4+)

We love meeting our community heroes at Katie’s Krops! Join us for a fun and hands-on safety event, led by dedicated members of Summerville Fire Department! In this class, participants will learn essential fire safety practices, including fire prevention techniques, proper actions to take in case of a fire emergency, hands-on instruction on how to effectively use a fire extinguisher, and more!

We will gain insight into the tools and equipment firefighters use in their daily work, learn about the components of a firefighter’s uniform, and explore the operations of a fire truck while learning some favorite aspects of the job straight from the firefighters themselves as they share their experiences and passion for serving the community.
