Charleston Museum Visit – Revolutionary Women (Recommended Grades 4+)

Join us for a very special visit from America’s oldest museum! Led by a professional museum educator, we’ll dig into history together!

Despite not being able to fight on the battlefield as soldiers, women played a major role in the Revolutionary War in South Carolina and beyond. Hear stories of real South Carolina women and how they helped the cause of American independence. Explore objects, paintings, and documents that bring their stories alive.
