Garden Adventurers – Three Sisters – Ages 6+ with a caregiver

Join us for an exciting new exploration of garden topics this spring thanks to the generous support of the SC Botanical Garden. Each month we’ll gather to discuss a new topic, get our hands in the soil, and have the opportunity for a taste test. This month, we’ll learn about an indigenous garden tradition – Threes Sisters Garden! In this method, corn, beans, and squash are planted together so each “sister” can perform a specific function and supports the other “sisters.” Join us to learn more about some of the history of this indigenous garden tradition and of course some fun vegetable facts and a taste test!
