Charleston Museum Visit – Cash Crops (Ages 6+)
Join us for a special visit from The Charleston Museum! Step back in time to discover the crops that made Charleston the wealthiest city in British North America. Learn about the intricacies of rice production and indigo as well as the enslaved people who did all the labor but received never of the wealth. Get hands on with these crops by pounding rice and using a fanner basket.
